Try Tel Noar For A Day!

While I’ve been a Jewish camper (and staffer) for decades — I even met my wife at camp — I’m a Camp Tel Noar “first-timer” myself this season. So here’s my letter home: “Dear Mom and Dad, Camp is awesome!” And yes, it’s true. It is so easy to join the Camp Tel Noar community. We’re a small, warm, inviting summer home, and what sets us apart is how we cherish and appreciate each individual even as we celebrate fun, friends and Jewish living as a community.

If YOU have a prospective camper in your house, know this: the best way to get to know any camp is to experience it in person while camp is in session. Here at Tel Noar, we are delighted to welcome prospective families here for tours throughout the season.

In fact, we have a very special day coming up next Sunday, July 6: our Future Camper Fun Family Day!

Please join me and the entire CTN community on Sunday, July 6, noon-4:30pm for lunch with our Tel Noar community, a pool party, tour of the camp, tie-dying and many more activities. Your entire family is welcome. You are our guests; there is no charge.

Lots of research (from the Foundation for Jewish Camp and others) shows that children who attend Jewish camp are far more likely to engage in Jewish life many years later as adults. At The Cohen Camps, we believe that Jewish camp is transformative, giving young people a uniquely powerful opportunity to explore their individual and collective Jewish identities and prepare themselves for their role in the larger Jewish community and the world. Our Jewish values guide our choices and embody the community at Camp Tel Noar — all while having the best summers of their lives, with lasting friendships and incredible memories.

To reserve your spot, simply email Registrar Becca Goldman at bgoldman(at) or call her at the camp office at (603) 329-6931. (And if next Sunday doesn’t work for you, Becca can help you find a tour date that does.)

Please join me and Camp Tel Noar next Sunday, and give your child that lifelong gift. See you at camp!
