Dor L'Dor Leadership Program
The Dor L'Dor Leadership Program, a combined program for Camps Tel Noar, Tevya and Pembroke, offers a unique and innovative leadership development experience for young people who have attended the Cohen Camps.
Current campers who have completed the 10th grade are eligible to experience an unforgettable 5-week tour of Israel and then return to camp as Counselors-In-Training (CITs). This wonderful adventure combines their love for camp and desire to learn about their Jewish homeland with the opportunity to develop life-long leadership skills and travel with their best friends.
CIT’s complete the Dor L’Dor Leadership Program with treasured memories and new found knowledge of the historical, religious and cultural aspects of the State of Israel. They also acquire leadership skills that will serve them well at home, at camp, in school and in their future lives as Jewish community leaders.
In addition to the personal enrichment each CIT gains, the program provides our camps with the opportunity to choose Junior Counselors for the following summer from a group who have completed a challenging program, have had meaningful exposure to Israel and have also had some experience working with campers back at camp.
