Camp TelNoar Director

Letter From The Director

November 2007

Dear Friends and Families,

It’s amazing to think that the leaves have already turned and fallen off the trees, and that it is that time of year when we open enrollment and start to rehire our staff for 2008.  The last few months have gone by so quickly and I’m looking forward to seeing everyone at our upcoming reunion on Sunday, November 25 at 10:00 am at Temple Beth Am in Framingham.  It will be so much fun to be b’yachad, together, again and to review our 2008 Zichronot on which Harriet Wallen and her helpers worked so hard.

We’ve been in touch with staff and have started to interview this year’s crop of Junior Counselors.  I have no doubt that many of your favorite counselors and staff members will be returning for one more summer on the shores of Sunset Lake.

While you’ve been home and attending school, we’ve been doing some work to prepare camp for the winter, as well as for next summer.  For 2008, we have refurbished our outdoor chapel, and we’ll be looking forward to dedicating it on our first Shabbat.  Although we are closed down for the winter now, there are many more projects that are underway both indoors and out.

Just a reminder for returning campers and their families that priority for re-enrollment ends on November 19.  New campers will start to be accepted, so if you haven’t sent in your applications, what are you waiting for?!?

Wishing you all a pleasant Thanksgiving holiday and an early Happy Chanukkah!

Until the Reunion,

Molly
